- Dr. Shimizu is a certified Orthodontic Specialist. Years of additional education and examinations are required for certification. Dr. Shimizu was class valedictorian at his dental school and is a recipient of numerous academic and teaching awards.
- Dr. Shimizu stays on the cutting edge of the profession through numerous continuing education programs and is the orthodontic advisor for several local dental study groups. He is a licensed provider of continuing education credits. In addition, he has been teaching graduate orthodontic residents for over 20 years at the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco.
- Our entire staff operates as a "Team" and we take great pride in each staff member's training and capabilities. Our chairside assistants are all registered dental assistants who maintain their credentials with continuing education seminars and workshops. Most importantly, our staff sparkles with enthusiasm and a caring attitude towards our patients. They insist our patients receive exemplary service and attention.
- Your time and convenience is important to us. Our office hours are from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM so that we can accommodate our patients' busy work and school schedules. Our office maintains a 7 days-a week emergency coverage. We are available when you need us.
